How To Know
HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU

In 2004, Sex and the City writers Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo helped millions of women stop making excuses and “stop wasting the pretty” with their clear-cut handbook on understanding the male-dating psyche. Here’s a quick list to make sure you’re not fooling yourself by pining away over Mr. Wrong:
• He’s not asking you out. He doesn’t want to ruin the friendship or take it slow. He’s not interested. Move on.
• He hasn’t called. He probably WON'T. Forget him.
• He’s not dating you. A midnight “booty call” is not a date. Neither is the non committal “Let’s hang out.”
Tell him you’re not interested in a “bromance.”
• He’s not having sex with you. Men who are into you want to touch you ... constantly.
• He’s having sex with someone else. If you need an explanation for this one, see a therapist.
• He wants to see you only when he’s drunk. Remember, your name is not Captain Morgan.
• He doesn’t want to marry you. Love cures commitment phobia. If he claims not to believe in marriage, tell him you don’t believe in dating him.
• He’s breaking up with you. It means he doesn’t like you anymore.
• He’s disappeared. He may have a drug problem or just be a jerk. Either way, erase him from your mind.
• He’s married. Who wants someone else’s problem?
• He’s a selfish jerk, a bully or a really big freak. Let’s spell out this no-brainer:
Don’t allow anyone to be physically or mentally abusive.
Ever.
